It is now evident that Aaron Rodgers is going to miss all the games of the New York Jets as he suffered a major injury in his Achilles. His departure has brewed trouble for the Jets as he was their primary bet for this season. A question has also been raised about who is going to replace him for the upcoming fixtures. Will the Jets look for a new quarterback? Or will it be someone from the team itself?
Multiple analysts believe Zach Wilson should be provided with a chance to replace Rodgers in this situation. Emmanuel Acho is one of them. From one of the episodes of his show, the former athlete seemed to advocate for Wilson, who according to him can be a perfect replacement for Rodgers in the tournament. He also suggested that the Jets need to look at options in the four walls of them.
“The first thing they have to do is to give Zach Wilson the first step ahead,” the analyst said. “You can’t look outside, you gotta look inside. Who is in our walls, who is our four walls gives us the best chance to win? The only thing that they can do at this point is give Zach Wilson,” he added.
He kept on saying, “Zach was bad in last season, he was awful. But at this point, Zach gives the best chance to win. Today. I don’t know about tomorrow, but today. Zach Wilson did not think there was a chance he was playing. I have been a backup for all season. Being a backup you are going to the game like oh let me see what Demico Ryan is going to do. If you get the rust on the fifth player you don’t have the time to see the adjustments. So, I think the best thing you can do is to roll out with Zach Wilson.”

Is Zach Wilson ready to step into the shoes of Rodgers?
The player thinks so. He believes he is in better shape than he was last season. He spent a lot of time with Aaron Rodgers during the offseason and Rodgers helped him to get his confidence back. Answering the questions of the press, Wilson said that he is ready to step up.
The player had a good game against the Bills as he had a 14-of-21 passing record for 140 yards with one touchdown and interception. He is expected to receive support from players like Sauce Gardner and Jordan Whitehead who had a brilliant game against the Bills.
