“10 years of hell!” NFL commentator Erin Andrews emotionally narrates her journey of having a child after years of infertility

Erin Andrews has had a successful career as an NFL commentator lasting over a decade now. However, during that decade, Andrews struggled with some problems of her own.
The biggest of them all was the struggle against infertility. Erin Andrews and her husband Jarrett Stroll were struggling with infertility for around 9 years now. Fortunately, their struggle was worth it as the couple was recently blessed with a baby boy. They named him Mack and he was born with the help of a surrogate.
“I’m not going to lie, I get really queasy, and I’ve been known to pass out,” Andrews, 45, told TODAY.com in an interview before her TODAY Show appearance on July 14. “It was 10 years of hell.” Andrews and her retired NHL husband had been hoping for a child for many years and the surrogate gladly helped them out. The couple were ecstatic after her support and cheered for her along the entire pregnancy journey.
“We’re so into sports in our family and we were cheering for her like she was our quarterback,” Andrews stated. It was the perfect picture of parenthood where the family had made it. Erin Andrews and her husband Jarrett Stroll had a difficult journey to parenthood involving many struggles.

After undergoing severe treatment for cervical cancer, Erin Andrews was advised by her doctors to freeze her embryos. The couple then decided to move forward with IVF in the hopes of getting pregnant.
After 2 surgeries of cervical cancer nothing was working out for them. The physical and emotional toll of the IVF process was also severe and the NFL commentator went through various struggles and spoke about it in an interview.
“We lost twins via surrogacy and that was really hard,” Erin Andrews stated. “I really struggled mentally. I didn’t handle it very well … I kind of tried to push it aside and act like everything was OK.”
Fortunately, everything worked out for Erin Andrews in the end and now she is a proud mother of her son Mark. The commentator is currently navigating the beautiful process of parenthood and learning many new things along the way. She and her husband are thoroughly grateful for the surrogate who helped them out in their tough times.
