Some new coaching updates for Bill Belichick, the former head coach of the New England Patriots. There are speculations that Belichick can land in the Atlanta Falcons as their new head coach. According to Adam Schefter, both parties are having conversations about a new partnership as the Falcons interviewed the veteran.
On social media, multiple fans are suggesting that Belichick should refrain from going to that place since the Falcons are one of the worst teams to go for. The Falcons did not have a single winning season in the last six seasons. They had 7-10 for three consecutive seasons under Arthur Smith.

Like the Patriots, the Falcons also took the harsh decision of sacking their head coach Arthur Smith. Smith was in charge of the team for three straight seasons. He failed to provide a single winning season to the team. Moreover, the HC was unable to take his team to the playoffs in all of his tenure in Atlanta. Following all these, owner Arthur Blank decided to sack the head coach.
We have profound respect for Coach Smith and appreciate all the hard work and dedication he has put into the Falcons over the last three years. He has been part of building a good culture in our football team, but the results on the field have not met our expectations. After significant thought and reflection, we have determined the best way forward for our team is new leadership in the head coaching position.Blank said while addressing the sacking in front of the press.
Belichick’s possibility of coaching the Falcons triggers fury
The possibility of Bill Belichick coaching the Atlanta Falcons was not appreciated by the NFL social media. Football enthusiasts vehemently opposed the idea of Belichick coaching the Atlanta team. They made it clear that they don’t want the veteran in the Falcons squad that does not have any significant performance over the last half a decade.

Despite consecutive non-playoffs and losing seasons, Bill Belichick still holds the record of being the best coach in the league. The HC has eight Super Bowl titles on his name. Six as a manager and two as an assistant coach.
Considering all these, fans on social media exhibited their disgrace over the prospective situation of Belichick coaching the Falcons side. Check out some of the comments that they made:
It is to be seen whether the possibility of Belichick coaching the Falcons becomes true or just remains speculation. The last time the Atlanta team made playoffs was in 2017 season. It will be a monumental task for Belichick, or any replacement for that matter, to revive this franchise and make playoffs ready.
