“Skin cancer?” – NFL fans express concern over Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ health after he was spotted with bandaids on his face

The Dallas Cowboys took on the Seattle Seahawks in their second preseason game on Saturday. Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas-based football team, was in attendance to witness the preseason action live. As Jones attended the game in person, the Cowboys fans took notice of something weird.
Jones had band-aids plastered on a couple of spots on his face, which took the attention of the Cowboys fans. The 80-year-old owner having multiple bandaids plastered on his face immediately led to the fans raising health concerns and brewing theories on social media. Some people believe Jones might have had some cancerous cells removed from the skin.
There is no official news about why Jones might have had bandaids plastered on his face, but there is no shortage of theories from fans. Back in March 2022, the Cowboys’ general manager Jones missed out on interviews with the media during the NFL Combine. ESPN reported at the time that Jones was dealing with a medical issue, but none of the details were revealed.
Jones is getting old and might be dealing with issues old people normally do. But he is seemingly healthy as he’s traveling to attend the road games of the Dallas-based franchise.
Nonetheless, the Cowboys took their second loss in the preseason as they suffered a 22-14 defeat against the Seattle-based football team on Saturday night. Dallas’ second-string QB Cooper Rush had a decent outing as he completed 9 of his 14 pass attempts for 96 yards and 1 touchdown.
On the other hand, the Seahawks surprisingly gave their first-string QB Geno Smith some playing minutes. Smith completed 5 of his 6 pass attempts for 46 yards and carried the rock 1 time for 2 yards.
Social media rises concerns over Jerry Jones’ health
NFL fans on social media, especially Dallas fans, were quick to notice the multiple bandaids plastered on Jerry Jones’ face. Fans created some theories about Jones’ health from their own experiences. Anyhow, Jones and America’s team are entering a very important year in 2023. Jones has done an excellent job in the off-season to surround his franchise QB Dak Prescott with some great talent.
Now, he will expect Prescott to lead the stacked roster of the Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory in 2023. As mentioned, the Cowboys do have what it takes to win the championship in the upcoming season, but it’ll eventually come down to Prescott’s ability to perform in big games.
