The Cincinnati Bengals have a ferocious defense. They have been the hottest team in the league in recent weeks. Their defense is a huge reason why the Bengals are on a four-game winning streak. They have great players on that side of the ball and one of those players is safety Dax Hill. The second-year defenseman has been a huge part of the Bengals’ recent success this season.
The Bengals are looking to improve on their 5-3 record against the feisty Houston Texans at home. They are playing a Texans team that is 4-4 through nine weeks of the season and their rookie QB C.J. Stroud has taken the NFL by storm. He has developed a great connection with another rookie, WR Tank Dell. However, the receiver took a nasty hit by Hill in the second quarter of the game.
With seven minutes left to play in the first half, the Texans had the ball on the Bengals’ 49-yard line. The score was tied 7-7 and Stroud was looking to lead his team down the field to score a touchdown. However, on a 3rd and long, Stroud threw a deep pass to Dell.
The receiver failed to control the ball and took a massive hit from the Bengals’ safety Dax Hill. Dell was on the ground for several moments before walking off gingerly to the sideline.
Dell came back on the field later in the game, though. The Texans have surprised a lot of people with their performances this season and they are putting on another show against the Bengals. The Houston-based team kept its head high to win 30-27.
