Nakobe is known for his grit and determination. The young gun battled injuries as a freshman but still managed to record 25 tackles. In addition to this, he played a vital part in guiding his team to the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship.

As expected, fans around the world were eager to see where Nakobe finally ends up after he declared himself for the 2022 NFL draft. He was initially projected to be a first-round pick, however, after the first two rounds, he wasn’t roped in by any of the teams.

A lot of fans and experts were extremely surprised to see Nakobe not getting picked. In fact, ESPN’s draft analyst Matt Miller took to Twitter and wrote, “NFL source just text me: ‘Either Nakobe Dean has horrible medicals or is a serial killer. I just don’t get it.‘”

Finally, the Philadelphia Eagles came to the rescue and roped Nakobe into their unit in the third round. It was incredibly surprising to see someone rated so highly going so late in the draft. His battle with injuries might have played a part in this. Nevertheless, he’ll now play for the Eagles and it will be interesting to see how he performs.
