With a 10-6 season standing, the Kansas City Chiefs have nothing to worry about as they have already secured a playoff spot. This means, that if the head coach Andy Reid wants, he can give his key players some time off to rest, and not go forward with them in week 18, against the Los Angeles Chargers.

After claiming victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the Sunday Night Football game in week 17, the Chiefs finally clinched a playoff spot and secured the AFC West championship for the eighth consecutive time. The reigning Super Bowl champion has nothing at stake as they enter the final week of the 2023 regular season.

The Chiefs’ journey here has been through a lot of ups and downs, as they took a risk of going into the season with no solid wide receiver, just a bunch of young rookie receivers. This is why, they have become more vulnerable in defense and less competent in offense. Despite the hardship, the star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce have led his team to qualify for the playoffs.

Given that, the team needs to build momentum heading into the playoffs, and not risk sustaining an injury at this point. However, the final call will be of head coach Reid’s.

The reigning Super Bowl MVP said:

If [the coach] wants us to get out there and build off this momentum that we have, I'll be ready to go. And if he wants to give us some rest, then I'll get that rest, prepare for whoever we're going to play, and be ready to go in the playoffs.

At the New Year Eve’s party, the 12-time Grammy winner wore a sparkling silver mini dress, while her beau maroon suit, that looked similar to Swift’s 10th studio album. The two were joined by Mahomes and his wife, twinning in black.

As their picture went viral, a user wrote, “There’s 12 Grammy’s and 4 Super Bowl rings combined in this photo.” However, Brittany became a topic of criticism, as fans questioned what feat she brings to the dynamic group.
