NBA [National Basketball Association] player Ja Morant is in a whole lot of trouble after flashing a gun in his Instagram live video. The Memphis Grizzlies have decided to temporarily suspend Ja Morant for two games following his actions.

The team has posted an official statement stating that Morant “will be away from the team for at least the next two games”. Hence this means Morant will be unable to play the matches against the LA Clippers on Sunday and on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

After the Memphis Grizzlies lost 113-97 against the Denver Nuggets, Ja Morant went on an Instagram Live video at 5:19 a.m. ET, hours. He was vibing to the background music shirtless and held up a handgun with his left hand. Ja Morant is considered to be one of the brightest stars in the NBA.

While everyone from the sports world is posting their opinions on Ja Morant, NFL legend Dez Bryant has posted a heartfelt message for the NBA star. Dez Bryant is currently a free agent who has played for teams like Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football for the University of Oklahoma. He’s made three Pro Bowl appearances as well as one All-Pro berth.

Dez Bryant said Ja Morant has a huge responsibility on his shoulders as he has to act as a role model for children. Bryant said that ‘Black kids’ see him [Ja Morant] as an inspiration and it’s up to him to lead them down the correct path.

“if you know and love @JaMorant put your arms around him and tell him the truth… Ja you got a special ability them other niggas around you don’t.. and if the niggas around you loved you.. it’s no way you would be flashing that gun..I don’t care if you was to say it’s no foul play to having that gun on your live that’s a no go!….it’s kids especially black kids with dreams living in poverty who love basketball trying to make it out.. you are special boss.. fuck that dumb shit… you are a role model regardless if you see it or not…your name hold weight.. make peace with whatever problems you are dealing with and elevate.. all love on this end ??,” Dez Bryant tweeted.

It is a very mature statement by Dez Bryant who didn’t criticize Ja Morant but instead pointed out to him where he went wrong.
