Jill Biden, First Lady of the United States Of America, was the honorary captain for the Eagles-Cowboys game in week 6 of the NFL. Unfortunately, Biden didn’t have a good time as she was booed continuously as she appeared on the Jumbotron on the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
Biden had reportedly attended the game to share awareness of the President’s new Cancer Moonshot initiative. She was also joined by cancer survivors and their families on the field, though the boos were only targeted toward Jill Biden.
The Eagles’ fans are considered the most brutal and wild fans of all the teams in the NFL. The atmosphere in the Lincoln Financial Field is hostile for the away teams, making it difficult for any team to win there, and the first lady too had to suffer this brunt.
Jill Biden was getting booed relentlessly as she was signing the ‘Fly Eagles Fly’ song with the cancer survivors and their families. Though allegedly the main reason Biden was getting booed is that she’s the wife of the President and the current economic condition in the United States led to such outbursts from the fans.
These heckles and screams didn’t bother the Eagles though as they pulled off an incredible victory against a formidable opponent, the Cowboys. The Eagles are currently the only undefeated team in the NFL and will be looking to keep their streak alive for the next games as well.
