The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers spectacularly last weekend. The team was doubted heading into the Wild card round as, despite having a remarkable 10-1 start to the season; they went on a downward spiral in the final 6 games going 1-5.

The team came up short yet again as they lost 9-32 to the Buccaneers. Following the game, the biggest question is what happens to Nick Sirianni? Does he still keep his job after this season?

The media asked this question a bit too soon to some of the Eagles’ players because they had barely had enough time to process the bitter end to their season. DT Fletcher Cox was infuriated with a reporter who asked him this question.

Have you, you know, got any wind of what's going to happen with Nick? Do you have confidence if you do come back that...confidence in him if he's also the head coach?
reporter asked

Cox was already on the edge, and this question threw him off. His facial expression changed, the anger was visible in his eyes. He even made sure that he got the question right as he asked, “What about Nick?” He lashed out at the reporter and said this.

Come on man, he's the head football coach of this team. Come on man, we ain't even...there ain't even no fu**ing discussion.

The reporter further asked,

I mean, there's absolutely some speculation about whether he may be fired or not?

At this point, Fletcher Cox had to confront the reporter.

I don't got nothing to say about that, you a clown bro, get out of my face bro.

This was not the time to ask about the future of the team’s head coach, the Eagles themselves were in a state of shock after this loss because the team had firmly believed that this was going to be their season wherein they would win the Super Bowl.

To see their hopes end like that was nothing short of traumatizing. Nick Sirianni’s job is on the line, but the Eagles have refused to make any comments regarding his future.

This season, the Eagles faced the heat after they lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators in the offseason. They failed to make key adjustments and their gameplay became predictable, ultimately leading to their downfall.
