“Should be able to get rid of it,” Foster Moreau shares positivity following TRAGIC cancer diagnosis

Foster Moreau has had a short career in the NFL, but it was all worthwhile. The LSU TE was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019 and had a decent career with them.
Sadly, the free agent TE had to move away from the NFL after going through a tragic situation. The 25-year-old was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is a type of cancer that affects the immune system. It is reported that as cancer progresses; it limits the body’s ability to fight infection and various other diseases.
However, Moreau was fortunate enough to find out about cancer in its initial stages and still has a fighting chance. The TE was a free agent after leaving the Raiders and was preparing himself for free agency. He even went through a physical with the New Orleans Saints. Luckily, this is where he found cancer in its initial stages.
Moreau surprisingly has a great outlook towards his cancer diagnosis and was heavily optimistic in his recent interview with ‘Good Morning America’. “It’s at stage 2, so it’s spread from the initial location,” Foster Moreau stated in the interview. “But it appears to be a slow spread and we should be able to get rid of all of it.”
Foster Moreau is prepared for his fight against cancer
After finding out about the potential cancer diagnosis, Foster Moreau decided to step away from the NFL and focused solely on his fight against cancer. The TE has shown lots of positivity regarding his upcoming battle and even shared a few words of wisdom in the interview.
“There’s no other way to look at it, right? So I’m preparing for my opponent, right?,” Moreau stated. “Hodgkin’s lymphoma, chemotherapy, I’m preparing for being on an IV, for six, seven, eight hours. Whatever it takes, right? Because I mean, there’s no other option. There’s no option.”
Moreau is becoming a great inspiration to many out there as he prepares for a battle against his cancer. However, the former Raiders TE is also grateful for his time on the planet and wants to make the most of it by beating cancer and coming out as a true victor.
Foster Moreau is currently spreading awareness regarding cancer and has also urged many to go out and see their doctors as it can happen to anyone in every walk of life.
