“F**k Russell!” Future DISSES his ex-girlfriend Ciara’s husband Russell Wilson in his new song reigniting the age-old beef

It looks like Future is still living in the past, as he took a shot at his former fiancée, Ciara‘s husband, footballer Russell Wilson. The Atlanata-born rapper brought out his latest track with Quavo, “Turn Yo Clic Up,” on Friday. Ciara ended her engagement with Future in 2014 after dating for two years. Sources close to the pair revealed that the 39-year-old rapper was seeing other women behind her back. As luck would have it, she had just given birth to their son, Future Zahir, in May. An insider claimed that the ‘Goodies’ singer was devastated during the breakup.
However, Ciara managed to find love again, this time in the form of Denver Broncos’ Russell Wilson. During this time, the “1, 2 Step” singer had filed for custody of her child. This did not sit well with Future, as he lashed out on Twitter,” I gotta go through lawyers to see Baby Future.” The ‘I Bet’ songstress then sued her ex-lover for alleged slander but did not go through with the case.
Wilson and Ciara tied the knot in 2016, but Future did not have any contempt for the NFL star. He once revealed on the Durtty Boyz Radio Show that “I don’t have anything against Wilson, and I’m happy for them.” Clearly, the view has changed over time for the hip-hop star. In his recent music video, in the second verse of the song “Turn Yo Clic Up,” Future says,” “I got it out the field / Fu*k Russell.” Various news outlets tried to get a statement from him about the real identity of ‘Russell,’ but his agency did not release any statement.
Russell Wilson and Ciara celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary
Wilson and Ciara may never be out of the looming shadow of rapper Future. However, they can still be a happy family. The couple recently celebrated their seventh-anniversary last week in Kyoto, Japan.
“The Promise” singer wrote on her Instagram,” In the Bible, the number 7 represents a full and complete world. My heart is complete and full of gratitude for the love we share. I have everything I want and need in you. Happy 7th Anniversary.” Wilson surprised her with a dinner date at famous chef Masaharu Morimoto’s restaurant.
The couple has two children together. They welcomed their firstborn daughter, Sienna, in 2017. Three years later, Ciara and Wilson announced the birth of their son, Win.
