Garrett Wilson is at a loss for words when it comes to describing the New York Jets‘ offense. Not only did the Gang Green suffer their 4th straight (7th of the season) defeat of the season on the occasion of Black Friday, but they have failed to cross the 15-point mark in that duration.
For a change, Zach Wilson was not the quarterback as backup Tim Boyle started his first game for the Jets. That did not light up the Big Apple crowd much considering how horrible their luck has been when it comes to signal calling.

Despite having a new player on the team, the result was the same. Boyle only managed 179 yards from 27 completions and one touchdown. The most significant part was the two interceptions he threw. One of them turned out to be a 99-yard pick-6. Wilson was already frustrated after only seeing the ball twice against the Bills in Week 10. He did catch the ball more against the Miami Dolphins—7 for 44 yards—and even scored the Jets only touchdown on the night.
The 23-year-old has been putting up similar numbers as last season, in which he won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Surely, he would have had aspirations for producing even better numbers this time around, but that isn’t the case. Not only are they unable to win a game, they can’t score offensive points as well. Naturally, it has impacted his performance.
Garrett Wilson told the media after the game:
I don’t know what I could tell you all, the fans; I don’t know what they’d want to hear.
He was having difficulties describing the sorry situation:
I’m out. I can’t think of anything.
Garrett Wilson hates the condition the Jets are in
Compared to how the hype was around New York with Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers joining the franchise, the present Jets outlook is night and day. The veteran tore his Achilles on Week 1 against Buffalo and is currently on the sidelines.

They prepared all preseason, keeping Rodgers in mind, but his injury sent them back to the drawing board. And now, after 11 weeks of football, they sit with a 4-7 record, which could get worse before the regular season ends.
Wilson told CBS Sports:
This sucks. Everything about this season has been tough. No one said it was going to be easy, but nothing's been easy. We've just got to keep the faith, that's all.
The former first-round pick has 64 receptions for 695 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. He and the Jets will welcome the Atlanta Falcons next to MetLife Stadium.
