Last Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers hammered their arch-rivals Dallas Cowboys in their week 5 matchup. The 49ers’ star tight end George Kittle had a remarkable game as he caught 3 touchdown passes from his quarterback Brock Purdy. Furthermore, he also pissed off some Cowboys fans by wearing a “F**k Dallas” shirt under his jersey. And now, Kittle has been slammed with a fine for showing off his NSFW shirt during the week 5 game.
According to ESPN, George Kittle has been fined $13,699 for the shirt he wore underneath his jersey. The shirt had a profane message and Kittle showed it off to the audience by lifting his jersey after the Niners scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Kittle said that he expected a fine for the profane message but also said that he would “do it again” per ESPN.
“I wore a personalized T-shirt, maybe an inappropriate word. So it is what it is. It was a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me,” Kittle told reporters on Thursday in a locker room interview.
After the game, Kittle revealed in The Pat McAfee Show‘s Monday episode that he was slightly inspired by the former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer, who wore a similar shirt in the 1994 NFC Championship game against the Dallas-based football team.
“I don’t make things up,” Kittle revealed on the Pat McAfee Show. “We stand on the shoulders of the 49ers before us. It’s something I’ve seen my whole career, and finally, I just wanted to channel it.”
As previously mentioned, Kittle also had a remarkable game on the field catching touchdown passes and helping the Niners to defeat the Cowboys 42-10. With that convincing victory, the 49ers remain one of the only two teams to be undefeated in the ongoing season.

Micah Parsons was not happy with George Kittle’s stunt
As expected, George Kittle’s “F**k Dallas” shirt created some controversy. He was fined more than 13 grand for displaying a profane message on his shirt. Furthermore, he also p**ed off some people, including the Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.
Following the NSFW stunt, Micah Parsons jumped on his podcast, The Edge, to send Kittle and the Niners a warning. Parsons said that Kittle has made it more personal than it needed to be.
“I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be,” Parsons said on his podcast. “Kittle’s my guy, but I’m gonna say this. . . Laugh now, cry later. We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. … If you wanna make it personal, we can make it personal.”
Parsons’ warning warranted a clap back from the 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who had the back of his teammate Kittle. Nonetheless, all this back-and-forth has made the Cowboys-49ers rivalry more interesting.
