The San Francisco 49ers escaped with a narrow 24-21 win in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the Green Bay Packers. It was supposed to be the Niners’ night, it nearly became a Packers fairytale. Both the teams gave their absolute best, however, it was George Kittle and the Niners who came out on top on their own patch.

Kittle, the Niners’ All-Pro TE, is still fired up about that win. He recently appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN and took that opportunity to troll the Packers’ fanbase. Ty Schmit, a devoted Packers fan and one of the show’s producers, gave Kittle a hard time for forcing his team out of the playoffs for the third time in five seasons.

In response, Kittle gave Schmit the finger and yelled:

It is commonly known that Kittle was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and has always enjoyed defeating the Packers. With four catches for 81 yards on Saturday, the five-time Pro Bowler contributed to the team’s lone receiving touchdown.

As the 49ers get ready to host the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, he and the rest of the team will face yet another test this weekend. San Francisco is definitely hoping to send Detroit home, too, as it stands to win the franchise’s sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy and earn a trip to the Super Bowl.

The San Francisco 49ers weren’t at their best against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. However, they were brilliant when it mattered most and won the game, 24-21. They have now advanced to the NFC Championship game and will face the Detroit Lions this Sunday. San Francisco’s tight end George Kittle acknowledged the team’s struggles against the Packers during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Kittle said:

This past game, I know it didn’t go the exact way everyone thought the 49ers were going to play. It wasn’t our best football by any means, until you get to the fourth quarter. Then our offense, our defense and our special teams are clicking when it matters most. Hopefully that rolls into the next game, because we found our rhythm.

The 49ers had a difficult first three quarters, but a strong fourth quarter was what advanced them to the NFC Championship Game. According to Kittle, the 49ers are a team that will stop at nothing to win.
