The fairytale story of the TCU Horned Frogs might be spoiled by the relentless Bulldogs in CFP National Championship. Georgia is looking to win its second consecutive championship and kickstart a new dynasty.
At the start of the game after going down by 10, TCU scored a 60-yard touchdown to cut Georgia’s lead to 3. However, that’s the only sign of life they’ve shown in the CFB National Championship.
Georgia had no problem moving the ball up and down as they scored points 38 points in the first half, Bulldogs’ quarterback Stetson Bennett has thrown for 213 yards in one half of the game. The 25-year-old QB also accumulated 4 total touchdowns.
On the flip side, TCU cannot move the ball at all other than their first touchdown, as the Bulldogs’ defense created relentless pressure and forced three turnovers in the first half alone. At the end of the first half, Georgia leads the game by 31 points. That’s the largest lead any team has had at halftime in CFB finals’ history. Furthermore, Georgia receives the second-half kickoff.

The defending champions have manhandled the Horned Frogs in the first half and look to get their second consecutive title. The Bulldogs lost many of their defenders from last year to the NFL Draft, as five Georgia defenders ended up getting drafted in the first round alone. But that didn’t stop them from being one of the scariest defensive unit in the country.
College football fans on social media brutally clowned TCU after they got completely demolished by the Bulldogs at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, California. TCU was ranked over powerhouses like Alabama and Tennessee.
The day started somewhat positive for the Horned Frogs as they managed to score a 60-yard touchdown, but since then they completely folded in both parts of the ballgame as they started to rake up touchdown after touchdown whenever they got the ball.
And on the defense, the Georgia Bulldogs managed to force three turnovers in half by recovering a fumble and picking off TCU star quarterback Max Duggan two times.
The Horned Frogs are known as the second-half team as they’ve continuously managed to erase a big deficit in the second half throughout the season, but 31 point deficit might be a little too big to erase for the Big 12 Champions.
