All things considered, a lot of football fans would have argued that the Orange Bowl game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida State Seminoles was already over even before it started. Putting 60 past the Noles was just a formality in the end. And on top of that, Warren Brinson rubbed salt on FSU’s wounds.

The celebration had already begun on and off the pitch throughout the state of Georgia. As the fans inside Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium chanted the Dawgs, a sideline incident caught the eye of the internet.

Georgia’s defensive lineman Warren Brinson had started Instagram Live as the game trodded on to the final whistle. A screenshot of the stream showed Brinson was next to a teammate, and a staffer was in the background.

Ammy Zimmer of WJCL caught Brinson while Live was still going on and shaking his head. Quite the banter from the young defender.

Brinson has been one of the key figures for Georgia in the 2023 season. He appeared in all 13 games, starting three of them. Before the Orange Bowl matchup against the Noles, Brinson had 19 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks.

It was a little surprising to see him do Instagram Live when the game was still on. And his followers and those who saw him doing it were a little taken aback by it as well. The only reason he was on the bench during the fourth quarter was because he was taking rest. Georgia was just giving everyone a chance to make some memories on the field.

It was an onslaught from the Bulldogs for not being included in the CFP (playoffs) this season, along with FSU. They were out for blood, and they got it. Even though the Noles were missing a few players (20 of them) which they left after their controversial exclusion from the playoffs as well.

Nonetheless, the Bulldogs’ 60-point win represents the largest by any team in Orange Bowl history. They surpassed last season’s College Football Championship win over TCU by 65-7. The Bulldogs recorded the most overall yards at 673 (301 receiving and 372 rushing yards).

Quarterback Carson Beck threw 13/18 passes for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns before being switched by Gunner Stockton 6/10 for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running back Kendall Milton carried the ball nine times for 104 yards, scoring two touchdowns. Daijun Edwards scored two from 70 rushing yards, and Ladd McConkey had one.
