New York Giants fans recently witnessed a ‘Ramontada’ moment. They had a horrific start to their NFL season as they lost 40-0 to the Dallas Cowboys. Against the Arizona Cardinals, they were down by 21-0 in the first half. When the fans thought that it was going to be another disaster, the team did a miracle. In the second half, the Giants scored 31 points without giving away a single point and won the game by 31-21. The NFL spectators on the ground witnessed a historic victory for the Giants. From analysts to fans, everyone was stunned by the brilliant display of football on the pitch. 

For the first time since 1949, the Giants have overcome a 21-point deficit and have won the game. They have lost at least 150 games in their history while trailing by 21 points. It’s the second-longest streak after the Chicago Bears, who have a record of losing 179 straight games. 

But how did the Giants achieve this comeback? Quarterback Daniel Jones revealed the key. He explained that the first half was tough with mistakes, but in the second half, their game plan clicked, leading to a strong comeback.

“Not exactly how we do it up. Started slowly and messed some opportunities to do something pleasing in the first half. We had the trust and kept going in the second half. We had trust in our plan, we had a good plan. We kept going in the second half, guys did a good job to make the play, the defense stepped up,” the player said.

Daniel Jones’ performance in the second half 

Quarterback Daniel Jones was impressive in the historic win against the Arizona Cardinals. He played a vital role in securing the victory for the team. The player had an impressive 26-of-31 passing record, amassing 321 passing yards and throwing two touchdowns. It was a solid performance from him that ultimately sealed the win for the Giants. Along with that, he had 59 rushing yards with one rushing touchdown and one interception in the game. His performance attracted appreciation from the head coach, Brian Daboll.
