During his college career, Barkley broke several Penn State records including most rushing touchdowns in a career, most rushing yards by a freshman and sophomore as well as most total yards in just one game. As expected, he was picked up in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Giants.

However, the 2021 season was a really tough one for the star footballer. During a game against the Dallas Cowboys, Barkley ended up rolling his ankle after his foot landed on Jourdan Lewis. Post that, in November 2021, the Giants announced that Barkley was in the COVID protocol.

Now when Barkley is fit and ready to go, he can’t wait to prove his critics wrong. “I just want to kill, just go crazy,” Barkley recently said, per SNY. “I don’t want to jump the gun, there’s a long way before September but to be honest I’m just tired of the BS that is said about me or this team,” he claimed.

I want to go out there and prove to this organization that the player they drafted is still there,” he added, assuring that he is ready to wreak havoc on the field. It will be interesting to see how the Giants perform in the upcoming season.
