Whether it’s on the runway or off it, Gisele Bundchen prefers to take one step at a time. Moreover, she emphasizes that one must rise to the occasion and give it their all.
Like the way she had to during a hectic few years when she had to deal with ailing parents, take care of Ben (13) and Vivian (10) in COVID, and move to Tampa with her then-husband, Tom Brady. That’s a lot to deal with for one person, but Bundchen trod through with vigor.
“It’s been very tough on my family,” the 43-year-old revealed recently in an interview. “I feel like whenever it rains, it pours. All we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings.” However, Gisele Bundchen found a way to deal with all the pressure. Her mantra is looking inward and focusing on keeping a calm mind. For that, her go-to solution is daily meditation and exercise. Her healthy body always helps to start the day better.
According to her, “you’re the first person who’s going to be impacted by it; then, it’s your children, your husband, and then your family.” She added, “It would’ve been very hard if I didn’t have all the different tools for support.”
From a distance, it will feel like she is being selfish. But Bundchen does not feel that; rather, she questions the idea altogether. She believes that taking care of herself is as important as loving her family.
“It’s not a selfish thing,” she said. “When you feel good, you’re a better mom; you’re calmer. You can’t feel guilty about prioritizing yourself. Because that’s loving you and loving the people you love the most.”

Gisele Bundchen gave up alcohol
It’s not easy being the wife of the best NFL player of all time. She may be used to all the glitz and glamor of the modeling world and all the negativity it attracts. However, marriage brings extra responsibilities. Besides taking care of the children, she had to deal with Tom Brady‘s move from New England to Tampa Bay. Adjusting to a new place takes sincere effort and time. This is where her meditation came from. On top of that, she went the extra mile and gave up alcohol.
“Right after I turned 40,” Bundchen told People Magazine. “I felt a huge difference between when I had the glass of wine and when I didn’t.”
Similar to Tom Brady, she stays away from caffeine. “It is not healthy for me. I can’t be having all these things (alcohol, caffeine) because they add up.”
She claimed that leaving booze cleared up her mind. Now she feels sharper and notices things that she did not before. Could she be taking a subtle jab at her ex-husband, whom she divorced last October?
Brady is currently getting chummy with Victoria’s Secret model, Irina Shayk. Even though Bundchen admitted that she has no qualms about the budding relationship, it has to be hard seeing Brady with another person.
