The Dallas Mavericks put up an exceptional display against the Phoenix Suns making their way to a place in the Western Conference finals. The Mavericks have Luka Doncic to thank, who was simply sensational on the night and carried them single-handedly to a 123-90, victory.

The Slovenian international took the NBA world by storm with his solo performance and they secured an encounter against the Golden State Warriors to set up a high profile clash. The performance from Doncic pleased plenty of sportsmen, and NFL footballer, Patrick Mahomes was among those.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was simply blown away by Luka Doncic’s performance. He took to his official Twitter account to share his thoughts and wrote, “Go Crazy.” He even mentioned Doncic’s account to show his appreciation following the mammoth performance.

“You can’t get this smile off my face right now,” Doncic said after he had 35 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals in only 30 minutes, sitting out the entire fourth quarter because the win was already secured.

“I’m just really happy. Honestly, I think we deserve this. We’ve been playing hard the whole series. Maybe a couple of games here we weren’t ourselves, but we came here with a statement in Game 7. We believed. Our locker room believed. Everybody believed. So I’m just happy.”

On the other hand, Patrick Mahomes is enjoying his time off the pitch and probably utilising this time to get himself refreshed and prepare for a hard season of the NFL in the upcoming months. The Texas native and Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback was watching the final game of the Suns-Mavs series.
