Taylor Swift‘s fans, who are referred to as Swifties, are spread all across the world, including prison. As a 32-year-old inmate, she previously expressed her desire to meet her idol in the Kansas City Chiefs‘ New Year’s game after being released from prison. Now that the game’s here and she has been released, she hopes to meet Travis Kelce‘s lady love.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a 32-year-old woman who was imprisoned for orchestrating her mother’s murder in 2016, recently got released from prison on parole after she served seven years of her ten-year sentence.

Blanchard was all set to attend the Chiefs’ upcoming NFL game and was hoping to bump into the star’s girlfriend and the iconic superstar Swift at Arrowhead Stadium as Kansas City is hosting rivals the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year’s Eve.

The reason Blanchard was so positive and excited about meeting the 12-time Grammy winner is because she follows the news. Swift has attended most of Kelce’s games this season, amidst her Eras Tour and interviews, to the extent that she has produced 138 tons of CO2 emissions in the last three months.

Given that, there’s a high chance that Swift will attend that game, supporting and cheering for her love as he takes down the team that rejected him back in 2013.

Gypsy Blanchard denied meeting Taylor Swift

Unfortunately for Blanchard, her dream of meeting her icon, whose songs helped her get through her time at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Louisiana, has been crushed, as the Daily Mail reported.

Since her post-prison release, the 32-year-old has been staying at an Airbnb property in Overland Park, Kansas, together with her husband, Ryan Anderson.

However, she was asked to immediately return home to Louisiana by her parole officer, as quickly as possible. As Blanchard isn’t in a position to deny the instructions given to her, she is left with no choice but to leave Kansas and bury her dream of meeting the pop star deep inside her heart.

The chances of her meeting the Cruel Summer songwriter were slim anyway, as her husband couldn’t purchase the VIP tickets where Swift would be seated and had to settle for general admission tickets.
