Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a difficult season last year, to say the least. Despite a torrid league stage wherein they finished the regular season with a dismal record of 8-9, they managed to qualify for the Playoffs, but were thrashed by the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Wildcard Round.

And much of their poor form can be attributed to the fact that Tom Brady wasn’t playing at his 100% last season. Brady was facing a lot of difficulties in his personal life, with problems arising in his marriage with Gisele Bündchen.

The couple ended their 13-year marriage in October as they announced their divorce after news started spreading about their marital issues. As per reports, Gisele wasn’t pleased that Tom Brady came out of retirement after just 40 days in February 2022.

Speaking on Tom Brady’s tumultuous time last season, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians accepted that it wasn’t the Brady the world is used to seeing. With all the personal problems Brady was having last year, it was a huge feat to battle it out for his teammates, as per Bruce Arians.

The injuries to our leaders was really, really hard,” Arians said. “Tom wasn’t himself, you know, with all the things that were going on. And I got to give him all the credit in the world for battling through what he went through last year for his teammates. I think the world of him but it wasn’t the real Tom Brady out there.”

Speaking on whether Tom Brady’s decision to retire is final this time, Bruce Arians says he’s absolutely positive that Brady won’t return to the football field. Having spent time with his kids, Arians says he has moved on to other things now.

I definitely think so,” Arians said. “He’s spent a lot of time with his kids and just heading to the next chapter. He’s got so many things going on, you know, he’s one busy dude.”

It is going to be a completely different chapter now for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without the likes of their veteran quarterback, but they must find a way to deal with life without Tom Brady.
