Travis Kelce has done a lot of heroics on the gridiron for the benevolence of the Kansas City Chiefs. But this time, the TE emerged as a real hero as he extended his support to the victims of the Kansas City parade shooting.

On Valentine’s Day, a mass shooting took place at the Union Station in Kansas City. People who came to witness the Super Bowl parade were subjected to this horrifying incident. According to the data by the Kansas City Police, one died and 22 people were injured in the mass shooting.

The Kansas City Chiefs team issued a statement after the brutal incident. They confirmed that all their players and their families and friends were safe. Following that, the team officially stated:

We are truly saddened by the senseless act of violence that occurred outside of Union Station at the conclusion of today's parade and rally. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City.

Travis Kelce took the issue to Twitter and expressed his deepest condolences to the victims. He wrote:

I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me.

A few days later, Kelce recorded an episode with his brother Jason in their podcast New Heights. Jason Kelce extended his support to the fans and Travis asked people to donate for the victims. He shared a link to the Chiefs’ emergency funds and asked the fans to donate to it. He also extended all his support to the victims.

The Chiefs team was shocked to hear about the incident

The mass shooting incident shocked the Chiefs team so much that all the players came out and showed support for the people who suffered. The Chiefs QB tweeted and even his wife Brittany Mahomes came out in support of the victims.

Brittany said in a follow-up Instagram Story post:

Highly embarrassed and disappointed in this, Super Bowl wins will never be the same because of this, it's devastating. Lives lost and people injured during something that was [supposed] to be a celebration. Horrible and traumatizing. So many prayers going to the families involved.

The Kansas City police, however, acted swiftly and the Kelce brother appreciated their endeavors after the brutal incident.
