The Green Bay Packers had picked linebacker Quay Walker in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. The promising youngster was the 21st overall pick in the draft and has been brought in to improve their defence.
The Green Bay Packers had earlier traded their star man Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in a bid to get Quay Walker. Walker user to play college football fornthe Georgia Bulldogs.
De’Vondre Campbell is mighty impressed by youngster Quay Walker
Quay Walker is in safe hands at the Green Bay Packers as he has De’Vondre Campbell as a mentor. Campbell is vastly experienced and is surely the right man to guide him in his rookie season. Walker has opened up that he’s been trying to pick up a lot from Campbell now that the two are involved in practice sessions.
“I’ve picked up a whole lot, to be honest with you,” said Walker. “He didn’t quite know it, but I wanted him a whole lot. Just tried to learn as much as I can from him. How he goes about his day, how he gets treatment in between meetings and stuff like that, and the things that he do.”
De’Vondre Campbell responded to this by saying that he doesn’t to mentor Quay Walker much as he’s already an impressive youngster with loads of talent. Campbell said that Walker is ‘a baller’ and is a smart player.
“I try to help and give as much advice as I can even though he doesn’t really need it he already a baller ?. Very smart Young Man with a great future ahead of him,” Campbell tweeted.
