We are now six weeks into the 2022/23 NFL season and the race for this year’s MVP award is starting to show light. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a serious contender and if he continues playing the way he is, the award is his to lose.
He is currently leading the NFL in both passing yards and yards per game and to give a clear understanding of his current form, Josh Allen’s 753 passing yards over the past two games are the most in a two-game span in Buffalo Bills history.

In the new season, Josh Allen has completed 1,980 passing yards along with 17 TDs and his numbers are currently off the charts. Allen went up against the Kansas City Chiefs and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and managed to clinch the game 24-20 with a 76-yard throw in the last minute.
Speaking on the popular show NFL Total Access, Buffalo Bills LB Von Miller gave viewers an insight into Josh Allen’s personality. Von Miller said that Allen is a fun guy to have around and has an easygoing personality, which is in contrast to other quarterbacks, like Matthew Stafford and Peyton Manning, who are both very strict.
“Josh, he’s just a creature man. I’ve been around some great quarterbacks – Matthew Stafford, Peyton Manning and some other quarterbacks as well but Josh is just different you know. And I’m not talking about physical ability or throwing the ball anything like that,” said Miller.
“He just has this easy going personality. You know I’ve been around Peyton Manning he’s like the sheriff. You got Matthew Stafford who’s you know pretty serious. But Josh you know he manages to make a joke out of anything man. He doesn’t take anything seriously and I feel this trickles down to everybody else. You know coach McDermott is a tough coach and he’s [Josh Allen] a bonus and I think that’s the Josh Allen effect.”
