“He’s always wide open” Justin Jefferson appreciates Cooper kupp’s style of play

The rivalry between Justin Jefferson and Cooper Kupp was brewing since the Vikings WR said that he is better than the triple crown winner. The fans were pretty divided but now we can see a change of pace where Jefferson was seen complimenting the Rams WR.
When asked about his competition with him Jefferson said. “Now I see why Kupp was wide open”, he also further added ” seeing the different plays and runs he makes… Now I understand why Kupp was always open.”
Justin Jefferson and Cooper Kupp, both are considered in the top 3 NFL WR list, such is their quality. Justin Jefferson had put the Super Bowl winner behind in a statement. “Coop is good, but I’ll say he’s behind me,” he said.
When Kupp was asked about this statement he applauded the youngster’s confidence and said. “I would hope he would say that. I think that’s the beauty of this game. I think it speaks to the competitiveness of this league. If you’re not putting yourself as the best and you’re not working to be the best, then I’d be concerned about stepping on the field with you if you don’t feel like you’ve prepared to be the best player that you can be.”
Kupp also went on to respectfully disagree with Jefferson’s statement. “I respect his opinion and I can also respectfully disagree,” he said with a smile.
Justin Jefferson vs Cooper Kupp, who’s better?
The Viking WR had his career-best season in 2021 where he ran for 3,016 yards(most in the NFL) and scored 17 touchdowns. Justin is also a 2 time Pro Bowl selection but overall Kupp had a better season where he led the Rams to the Super Bowl victory last season.
I am not so sure who’s better between the two of them but we can safely say that both of them are NO.1 and NO.2 in rankings as WR in the league.
