The former New England Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett, who played in the NFL for 5 years, died Tuesday at the young age of 35. The details about the sudden death of the former NFL QB have been now revealed by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office.
According to multiple reports, Ryan Mallett, 35, died in an apparent drowning incident at a Florida beach. The Sheriff’s office reported that around 2:12 pm, first responders received a call from a beach in Destin, Florida. A group of swimmers, who were swimming at the beach, were apparently struggling to find their way back to the shore.
One among the group, who was later identified as Mallet, was reportedly not breathing when the first responders pulled him out and sent him to a local hospital. Mallet was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Ryan Mallett, who played in the NFL with three different teams, including the NE Patriots, was currently coaching High School football in the Arkansas district.
“It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Coach Ryan Mallett,” White Hall, the Arkansas school district, wrote in a post on its website. “Coach Mallett was a beloved coach and educator. We ask that you remember his family, team, students, fellow coaches, and the White Hall School District staff in your prayers.”
Mallet was an exceptional college football quarterback. He spent one year with the Michigan Wolverines before transferring to Arkansas, where he excelled as the starting QB.
His best season came back in 2010 when he accounted for 3,869 passing yards and 32 passing touchdowns while completing 64.7% of his passes. As a result, he finished 7 in that year’s Heisman voting. His sudden demise has put the football world in a dire situation.

Following the unexpected death of the former NFL and college football QB Ryan Mallett at a young age, many people have poured in tributes to the talented signal-caller.
The former Patriots QB Tom Brady took to social media to share condolences. The legendary quarterback wrote, “We lost a great man. Thank you for everything, Ryan.”
“Horrible news to read about Ryan Mallett,” Mallett’s former Houston Texans teammate J. J. Watt wrote in a tweet. “Gone way too soon. Rest in Peace brother.”
Additionally, many other people, including the Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, also paid their tributes to Ryan Mallett. The former NFL QB was briefly married to a woman named Tiffany Seeley. But he doesn’t have any children. His untimely death has put his family and friends in a dire situation.
