Super Bowl Sunday is here! The Super Bowl is an annual event that is watched by millions of Americans and others all around the world. Football is not the only attraction at the event. The annual event also has music performances from popular artists during the game’s halftime show. This year, R&B Artist Usher will headline the halftime show, but there are also rumors that Justin Bieber might perform on Sunday.

The rumors about Justin Bieber started after TMZ reported that Usher had reached out to the pop music artist about a possible surprise guest performance. According to TMZ, Usher and Bieber directly talked to each other without any middlemen.

Usher mentored the pop music artist during his early days along with his manager Scooter Braun. They have been close ever since. But the outcome of Usher’s phone call remains a suspense.

It should be noted that Bieber arrived in Vegas just a day before the big game. He could either just be in town for the biggest sporting weekend of the year or he could be in town to perform with Usher at the big stage.

Nonetheless, Bieber hasn’t been performing a lot in recent months. In 2022, he stopped his ‘Justice’ world tour after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. He has however performed at a few events recently, including a performance at NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto this past weekend. So, fans are pretty excited about the idea of the popular music artist performing alongside Usher in the Super Bowl game.

Who will join Usher during his Super Bowl performance?

As previously mentioned, Usher will headline the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday in Vegas. Although Usher himself can carry the weight of the show, the R&B singer is expected to be joined by some of the people he has collaborated with in the past.

Recently TMZ reported that Usher is expected to be joined by Lil John, Ludacris, and 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys. But, none of the artists have confirmed their appearance yet.

TMZ also reported that the sources close to production confirmed Keys was seen rehearsing with Usher inside Allegiant Stadium on Thursday. They are expected to perform their hit collaborating song ‘My Boo’.

If Justin Bieber also joined the party, it would definitely get the crowd pumped. The halftime show, as well as the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, will be telecasted on CBS Sports and Nickelodeon. The game could also be streamed on Paramount+ and Peacock.
