Looks like Isiah Pacheco has caught the wind of memes, as he embraced his “angry runner” label on social media. Well, everyone is familiar with how when the Kansas City Chiefs running back runs, it appears the ground is on fire and he’s the only one who can annihilate the flames. And that’s known as one of the most famous memes among the fans.
Interestingly, the second-year back, as well, has taken notice of the viral meme and all the comparisons of his running style. But one that compelled him to respond was that he runs like he bites people.

Pacheco struck back with the most epic response, saying:
I ain’t no zombie!Isiah Pacheco said to the reporters
He referred to this meme as one of the funniest ones he saw and also clarified why he runs like that. He added on Wednesday, as he recovers from his toe injury:
For me, it's just being determined and that I have a goal to achieve, and we want to get the job done.Isiah Pacheco added
Regardless of fans made fun of Pacheco’s running style, it sure gives him an advantage on the field. Despite missing three games, the running back has logged 935 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season.
In fact, for most of the time in the regular season, when the Chiefs’ offense struggled due to not having a strong receiver’s backing, it solely relied upon Pacheco. That’s why, head coach Andy Reid gave him the nickname “Energizer Bunny guy” after his last year’s Super Bowl run.
Isiah Pacheco’s injury update
During the Chiefs’ divisional round victory against the Buffalo Bills last Sunday, running back Pacheco ended up with a toe injury, due to which he even had to miss out on Wednesday’s practice session for the upcoming AFC championship game.

In the two playoff games that he played this season, the 24-year-old logged rushing for 89 and 97 yards along with a touchdown in each. However, with his toe injury, it might become tough for the RB to drive and cut through tackles as he usually does.
But the good news is Pacheco is ready and willing to play the upcoming Sunday’s game, which will take his team straight to their second consecutive Super Bowl, via Dov Kleinman.
