Deshaun Watson’s saga takes a new turn. The first of the 30 massage therapists to file a complaint against the QB for sexual misconduct now believes she’s receiving death threats and online hate on social media.

Watson recently got a six-game ban for sexual misconduct by NFL disciplinary officer Sue. L. Robinson, However, the league thinks it’s unfair and still fighting for a longer ban.

Solis shared her ordeal in a joint press conference with her attorney. “The whole situation has been emotionally and mentally taxing.” Ashley Solis said. “I’ve received multiple death threats, had angry people approach me in public and I’ve had hundreds, if not thousands, of people say terrible and vile things about me on the internet.’’

Ashley Solis also believes that amid the chaos her voice isn’t being heard and would like to speak for all the people who have been wronged by Deshaun Watson.

“No matter how big, powerful, or scary someone may seem, they are just human… and like all humans, we all deserve our voices to be heard.” Ashley Solis, said in a statement.

Solis also hit back at the NFL for their somewhat lenient behaviour regarding Watson’s punishment. She’s unsatisfied by the six-game suspension and feels it should be way more.

“What do the actions of the NFL state to little girls who have suffered at the hands of someone perceived to have power – That it’s not a big deal? That they don’t care? Tough sh**? That’s what I’ve taken from their actions.’’

The NFL has filed a new appeal of a minimum one-year ban for the Browns QB. NFL has appointed former New Jersey Attorney General Peter C. Harvey to hear Watson’s appeal.

The situation is pretty tense in both camps and we can only wait to find out if the six-game ban will remain or if the Cleveland Browns will be without their star QB for the Whole 2022-23 season.
