Apart from being the most talented and accomplished QB in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is also one of the most likable people around the league. However, the same can’t be said about his brother Jackson Mahomes, who has repeatedly gotten into trouble over the years. In one particular instance, Jackson faced heavy backlash for dancing over the late Washington Commanders (formerly known as Redskins) legend Sean Taylor’s jersey number.
During a week 6 game against the Chiefs in 2021, the Washington Football Team had a memorial ceremony for their franchise legend Sean Taylor, where they retired his jersey number 21.
During the ceremony, the younger brother of Patrick Mahomes, Jackson was seen filming a video doing TikTok dances over Taylor’s jersey number that was painted on the FedEx Field. Jackson upset a lot of fans with his actions and faced a massive backlash on social media. Besides, some fans were already pissed at him for dumping water on the Baltimore Ravens fans previously.
Nevertheless, Jackson had to apologize to the Commanders‘ fans on social media for his actions. “I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family,” tweeted Jackson Mahomes.
Fair to say fans weren’t amused by this apology either.
Despite the massive backlash, the younger brother of the Chiefs QB didn’t learn his lesson there and continued to find himself in controversial situations.

Jackson Mahomes is facing sexual assault allegations
The Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes‘ brother Jackson Mahomes once again finds himself at the center of a controversy as he is caught on video forcibly kissing a Kansas City restaurant owner.
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” the victim Aspen Vaughn said regarding the incident. “and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
The police department released a statement saying that they are aware of the incident and are further investigating the allegations. A few days after the allegations, the CCTV footage of Jackson Mahomes forcibly kissing the restaurant owner Aspen Vaughn went viral on social media. The cops are still investigating the incident.
