Aaron Rodgers finally moved on from the Green Bay Packers this offseason and joined the New York Jets just like his predecessor Brett Favre. Now, Jordan Love, the starter for the Packers has some pretty big shoes to fill.
Love spent three years on the bench and has finally got the chance to take the reins of the Packers franchise into his hands. The Packers just completed their first minicamp and Love is pretty confident of the roster and has some high praises for them.
“I think we’ve got a great team,” Love said, via the Wisconsin State Journal. “I think we have a good offense, a young offense. We have a lot of work to keep putting in, keep building together. I think we’ve got playmakers on offense. I think all the weapons we have at receiver, tight end and running back, we’ve got guys who can make plays. … I think once everybody gets rolling, gets comfortable with the offense and being where they need to be every play, the sky’s the limit for us.”

Jordan Love gets crowned as the best QB in the league by teammate Jaire Alexander
Jordan Love has impressed everyone on the team with his skills in minicamp and since he has been on the bench, the first-round pick has displayed a good knowledge of the playbook. Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander was mighty impressed with his new quarterback and went to the extent of saying that Jordan Love is “best QB in the league.”
The Utah State alum has started just one game in the ten games he appeared in the past three years and has a 3-3 touchdown to interception record. For a player who has absolutely zero experience leading a team full-time without a safety net, the praises meant nothing.
Fans on Twitter were confounded more than angry at Jaire Alexander for declaring Love as the best quarterback in the league. People were quick to make a fool out of the 2x Pro Bowl cornerback. Here are a few reactions from fans.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Love is working on improving his game every day and hopes he enters the 2023 season with the right mindset. The young quarterback also said that he has been studying his films and seeing where he’s going wrong and is trying to perfect it. The next minicamp for the Packers starts on July 26. Let’s see how far along the new quarterback is to lead one of the best teams in the league.
