His new contract with the Eagles will see him earn $255 million for five years with $180 million in guaranteed money. Lynn considers Hurts as her little brother and recently compared the Eagles QB to the NBA legend Kobe Bryant and Pop legend Beyonce. She also gave an explanation for the bizarre comparison.

“He’s a mixture of Kobe Bryant and Beyoncé. Even when you’re talking to him, you want more. You don’t really know him. He’s not intentionally secretive but naturally has this elusive I need to know, I need more. That’s Beyoncé,” Lynn stated. “And as for the late Kobe Bryant? “Jalen’s got the Kobe obsessive work ethic. Shooting for greatness. And never satisfied.”

Hurts has put every on notice of his talents after his record-breaking season with the Eagles, where they made it to the Super Bowl. However, they ended up on the losing column. Regardless, it was a commendable run, and the QB is confident that he can do it again.
