Players often get fined for rush challenges on quarterbacks in the NFL. However, this time, something different has occurred. A quarterback was fined for his challenge on a different player. The name? Jalen Hurts. One of the most dangerous quarterbacks to play the currently.

The Philadelphia Eagles are presently running with an 11-4 record. Their latest win came against the New York Giants on Sunday when they beat the Giants by 33-25. Hurts had a vital role in the game as he had 301 yards with a touchdown and an interception. In addition, the QB also completed 24 of his 38 passes.

However, the QB indulged in a rush play in the third quarter when he threw a pick-six to the Giants cornerback Adoree Jackson. The latter picked the ball up and started running towards the opponent half when Hurts had done a nasty attack on him. He lodged a horse-collar challenge and dragged the Giants CB down to the ground. The challenge had a vital consequence.

Though Hurts was not sent off but later was fined a hefty amount by the league. The NFL authority decided to put a fine of $16,391 on the Eagles signal caller. In the game, the Giants had a two-point conversion from the nasty challenge.

Jalen Hurts was not suspended and he would play in the game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The Cardinals are presently one of the last benchers in the league.
