Jalen Hurts made a staunch comeback against the Miami Dolphins after getting intercepted three times in the game against the New York Giants. The QB had a good time on the turf and played a pivotal role in terms of achieving a much-needed victory for his team. The mighty Philadelphia Eagles had a good game against the Dolphins as they registered a 31-17 victory this Sunday.
Despite playing well, an injury concern is causing trouble for Hurts and his team. Hurts took some time to return to the field during the second half. He got injured during the first half. The player came back to the field but was wearing a leg brace. He completed the game, but the injury remained a question for him and the team.
However, in the post-game presentation, Jalen said he would be fine and hoped for the best to move on from the injury.
I'll be fine--Nothing too much. Just getting ready for the next opponent.
Coach Sirianni also looked pretty cool with the injury as he added:
He played the rest of the game and played at a very high level--I thought he played really outstanding. Man, he is a competitor. There is nobody else I would rather be our quarterback. He played his b*tt off tonight. He's tough.
A lot of people questioned Hurts for his ‘not-so-good’ performance against the Jets. They questioned the amount of money that Hurts is getting from the Eagles side.
This offseason, Hurts signed a massive deal with the Eagles. Anyhow, the experienced QB shut everyone up with his performance. His team are now standing at 6-1 and are hoping to reach the playoffs. If an injury does not become a reality then they can easily make it through and can be heavy contenders for the Super Bowl as well.
Can Jalen Hurts break his previous season’s record?
Hurts started the 2023 season in style. In seven games, the player has covered 1,821 yards and registered nine touchdowns with eight interceptions. The high number of interceptions is a problem for him and the player needs to work on that.

Last season, the QB was exceptional. He played 15 games and covered 3,701 yards of passing. He also covered 306 among 460 passes and registered 22 touchdowns with only six interceptions. This season, he already surpassed the number of interceptions. If he wants to surpass his previous season’s performance, then the player needs to avoid this part of the game.
Despite starting well, the player is presently not the favorite among the QBs to win the MVP. No talks are circulating around him. If he has to change it, then he needs to produce a different level of heroism for the Philadelphia Eagles.
