There’s always a winner and a loser at the end of a game. Those who take home the victory are cherished by the people around them. But the side that tasted defeat either erases the memory of the bout altogether or keeps repeating it in their mind and vows to return stronger. The same can be said about Jalen Hurts, who is looking to right the last season’s wrongs by winning the Super Bowl.
Every Philadelphia Eagles fan knows how good their quarterback, Hurts, is. But they would be even more delighted to know how he is looking forward to leading them to the promised land of glory. He even turned down Peyton Manning’s offer to appear in ‘Quarterback’ Season 2 in order to focus on the Eagles.
The 24-year-old, who would begin his fourth year as the Phillie’s quarterback, has already set his sights on the prize. He has been constantly training to keep himself fit and in shape. “I’m around the same weight, weighing around 222 every day when I step on the scale,” Hurts revealed. He needs all the stamina and endurance he can muster to come face-to-face with the best.
However, there’s another way Jalen Hurts keeps himself motivated. A recent viral photo of the 2022 Pro Bowler shows that he keeps his own image from last year’s Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. That is one way to keep yourself motivated all the time. Witnessing such emotion from their star player, the Eagles fandom is pumped for the 2023 season.

Hurts is a very positive-thinking person. In an interview, he revealed his thoughts after last year’s defeat. He said,” You either win or you learn. I think people look at failures as a negative thing, but it’s about how you respond.”
The 6-foot-1, 223-pounder believes the best way to erase failure is to show everyone that he’s capable of doing it all over again. “There’s a sense of urgency around here,” he said. “As a leader, you’ve got to have that sense of urgency and display those characteristics.”
The Eagles are progressing nicely through their preseason training camps. Hurts looks faster and stronger than in previous seasons. He also revealed that he keeps track of his body fat to be in optimum condition.
“The difference is the 7.1 percent body fat,” he revealed, according to NFL.com. At first, he did not think much about body transformation. But as the training progressed, he grew into the rhythm.
