The Dallas Cowboys faced off against the Detroit Lions on SNF. The game was interesting and captivating as Cowboys star QB Dak Prescott marked his return to the turf after recovering from a terrible injury. The game also included a comical moment that involved the referees.

During the game, the referee was calling a penalty on the Lions and RB Jamaal Williams accidentally threw a football at the referee’s head and immediately apologized for his mistake. The referee laughed it off and continued the penalty call that he was going through.

The Lions were sent back 10 yards because of the penalty call as the referee was unfazed by the ball hitting his head. Another referee confronted Jamaal Williams for his actions, but nothing came out of it as the ref didn’t take it very seriously and let it go.

The referees have had a tough job this season in the NFL as they were heavily criticized recently for their controversial calls. Especially the ‘roughing the passer call’ that has created a lot of controversies recently.

The Cowboys-Lions game was filled with penalties as the referee called 15 calls, eight against the Lions and seven against the Cowboys, who had a great game.

The Lions are last in their group and will need to seriously improve in the coming days if they want something out of the season. On the other hand, the Cowboys are third in their tightly contested group.
