The Cincinnati Bengals led by their expensive quarterback Joe Burrow squared off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in their week 4 matchup. In the game, the Bengals struggled a lot and couldn’t get their offense going, leading to a humiliating week 4 loss for the Cincinnati-based football team. After the game, star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase sounded off on frustration due to their offensive woes through the first 4 weeks of the ongoing NFL season.
During the post-game press conference, the Bengals’ Pro Bowl receiver Ja’Marr Chase was asked if he feels like he has less time to get open. Chase dropped a F-bomb in frustration while answering that question.
“I’m open. I’m always f***in’ open,” said Chase. “I can’t do nothing, man. I can’t do nothing than what I’m already doing. If I’m open, I’m open. You know, at the end of the day I can’t do nothing but… what can I do? If I’m open, I’m open, you know what I’m saying?”
Chase later apologized for dropping the F-bomb in the interview. Nonetheless, Burrow and the entire Bengals’ offense had a bad time against the Titans on Sunday. Joe Burrow completed 20 of his 30 pass attempts for just 165 passing yards and 0 touchdowns. The star pass catcher Ja’Marr Chase had a solid outing as he caught 7 passes for 73 yards, but he couldn’t help the Bengals cross the endzone once in the entire game.
In the end, the Bengals couldn’t score even one touchdown in the game and suffered a humiliating 27-3 loss against the Tennessee-based football team on Sunday. With that loss, the Bengals fell to 1-3 and found themselves in a hole early in the season.
Joe Burrow is off to the worst start possible in 2023
The Cincinnati Bengals made their former first-round pick Joe Burrow the highest-paid NFL player of all time by giving him a massive 5-year deal in the 2023 off-season. However, Burrow hasn’t played like he deserves that contract so far.

So far, in the first 4 weeks, Burrow has 728 passing yards and 2 touchdowns while just completing 57.6% of his pass attempts. A significant loss in production from his 2022 campaign when he had 1,099 passing yards and 8 TDs through his first 4 games.
Nonetheless, the Pro Bowl signal-caller will be looking to regain his old form and lead the Bengals back to winning ways next weekend, when they are scheduled to face the Arizona Cardinals in their week 5 game.
