The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for their Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers. It is scheduled to take place next Sunday in Las Vegas. Amid this, the biggest question among fans is whether or not the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, would attend the event since she is scheduled to perform at a concert in Tokyo, Japan. The concert happens just a day before the game.

And now, the Embassy of Japan in the USA has released an official statement on their social media profile assuring fans that Swift can attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas after finishing her Tokyo concert as long as her plane leaves on time.

The embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on 10 February to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII.

The ‘Love Story’ singer has concerts scheduled in Tokyo on February 7, 8, 9 and 10. Her Tokyo Dome concert on February 10 is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time, which will be 1 a.m. in Vegas time, where the Super Bowl is set to happen.

If she left Japan immediately after the show, she could make it to the United States on Saturday night, which was more than enough time to attend the Super Bowl game, which will take place on Sunday.

The statement from the Embassy of Japan noted the time difference between the two countries to assure fans that the 12-time Grammy Award-singer won’t miss seeing her beau, Travis Kelce, in action against the 49ers.

Swift has attended 12 of the last 18 Chiefs games to support Kelce. She also traveled across the country and attended the Chiefs’ three road playoff games. So, naturally, fans expect her to be present in Vegas during her boyfriend’s biggest game of the year.

Nonetheless, with or without Swift, the expectations for the Chiefs-49ers game have reached new heights. NFL fans can’t wait to witness two of the best teams in the league go against each other on the biggest stage.
