The Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is living the dream at the moment after achieving his third Pro Bowl last year. He is looking forward to 2023 in order to continue his rich vein of form. Another thing he’s always keen on keeping close to him is his fiancée, Christen Harper. The gorgeous model was one of the stars of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit runway show at the W South Beach for Miami Swim Week on Friday, July 7.
It’s an annual event where the latest and hottest swimwear from some of the most renowned designers around the globe is showcased. Harper wore a sparkly two-piece swimsuit designed by Oséree.
In 2021, Christen Harper was named joint winner of SI Swimsuit’s Swim Search open casting call. The following year, she took home the SI Rookie of the Year title, according to her Instagram. The 30-year-old has worked with several big-shot photographers. She plans on making it big in the modeling world and judging by her trajectory, she may end up achieving it.
Harper also starred in Women of the League, a web series that covers the wives and girlfriends of NFL players. Moreover, she is also an entrepreneur, creating her own swimsuit brand named Line of Swimsuits with B Swim.
Christen Harper recalls Jared Goff’s move to the Detroit Lions
Jared Goff and Christen Harper met back in 2019 and have been together ever since. Goff was playing for the Los Angeles Rams and had just finished a less-than-impressive season when the two started dating. However, Goff’s time at LA was coming to an end, and a new challenge was beckoning. In 2021, he traded for the Lions.
Harper recalled that moment while appearing on “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford” Podcast when Goff told her they would be moving to Detroit. She revealed that she had never been to Michigan in her life and had heard nothing positive about the place. However, her perspective changed when they actually witnessed it for themselves.
Goff’s first season was a horror show, with him winning just three games from 14 and losing 10 and drawing one. However, the Lions made a recovery in 2022 and managed to end with a positive 9-8 record. Goff had his third-best year, as he rushed for 4,438 yards and scored 29 touchdowns. Jared Goff would want a change in his fortune this year, and maybe lady luck would help him rediscover his 2018 form.
