Jason Kelce was frustrated about something during the Los Angeles Rams game. The Philadelphia Eagles center is one of the most competitive football players in the NFL. When things are not up to his standards, he will more than likely complain.
After a disappointing end to their campaign last season despite reaching the Super Bowl, Kelce hasn’t forgotten that taste. He more than likely wants to secure another chance to play for the Lombardi. Being in the twilight of his career, he would be itching to get another shot.
The Eagles were unbeaten before traveling to LA. A win against the Rams would have meant that it would be their best-ever start to the campaign. Not to mention, the crown of the NFC was hanging in balance.
The game kicked into overdrive with quick touchdowns from both sides. But neither of them, especially the Eagles, were failing to capitalize on first and second downs. Several wayward passes from quarterback Jalen Hurts were killing their drive. And to make matters worse, Rams star receiver Cooper Kupp, who was playing for the first time this season, looked to be finding spaces in between the Eagles secondary with ease.
After an uninspiring third quarter, the game picked up pace in the fourth. But poor third-down efficiency (6/14) was causing problems. Around this time, the camera focused on the Eagles dugout and caught Jason Kelce arguing with head coach Nick Sirianni. He was not happy about something that he was witnessing. However, there’s not enough evidence as to why the sudden outburst came from one of the most cool and calm minds in football.
The Philadelphia Eagles survived the Los Angeles Rams scare
Even though the Eagles won against the Rams, they weren’t the dominant team that has brushed aside quality opponents. Their biggest drawback in the game was the run to the end zone. 11 of their 24 points came from Jake Elliots‘ field goals, which is not ideal when they are considered to be a very offensive-minded team.

Then again, the Eagles run game is exceptional. Wide receiver A.J. Brown had a field day on Sunday night. He ran 127 yards, catching only six passes. Tight end Dallas Goedert was not far behind, with 117 yards gained from 8 receptions.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts was again the star of the show. He completed 25/38 passes for 303 yards and scored one touchdown. Hurts also led the team in rushes with 15 carries for 72 yards. Next, they will travel to the Big Apple to face the New York Jets.
