Patrick Mahomes has cemented himself as an all-time great after just playing in the NFL for six seasons. The 27-year-old QB is a 2-time regular season MVP and a 2-time Super Bowl MVP.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Mahomes are currently on a high after winning the Super Bowl last season. Additionally, Mahomes is also considered the best QB in the NFL currently.
Recently, Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, the biggest rival of Mahomes, decided to show respect to him by declaring him the best QB in the league. However, Burrow’s WR Ja’Marr Chase disagreed with his assessment and decided to take a shot at the Chiefs QB by saying, “Mahomes who?”
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce spoke about this in the most recent episode of New Heights along with his brother Travis Kelce. Jason believes that the shot by Ja’Marr Chase was a bit disrespectful and further went on to create a distinctive chant for Mahomes.
“It was a bit disrespectful, Pat didn’t like it,” Jason Kelce stated on New Heights. “I just wish it would have devolved to who? Ma-homes who? Mahomes.” The Eagles center also wants the distinctive chant to be said loud at Arrowhead Stadium when their next season kicks off.

Patrick Mahomes savagely hit back at Ja’Marr Chase

Ja’Marr Chase still believes that Joe Burrow is the best QB in the league. However, his way of calling out Patrick Mahomes went a bit too far and the Chiefs QB decided to answer him in his own way.
Mahomes attended the Chiefs ring ceremony recently. There, the 27-year-old posted a picture on Instagram with his 2 Super Bowl rings. Although the picture was exhilarating, it was the caption that was vicious.
Patrick Mahomes captioned the picture saying, “That’s who.” This was the callback to the recent statement that the Bengals RB made for the Super Bowl winner.
Travis Kelce also spoke about the controversial incident along with his brother. The Chiefs TE had a word of caution for Chase and asked him never to disrespect Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes is swiftly becoming one of the best NFL players of all time and can even challenge the GOAT, Tom Brady, if he keeps going this way. However, the Chiefs QB is only focused on performing well next season.
