Jason Kelce played his last game as the Philadelphia Eagles player on Monday. The center is 36-year-old and for the past few years; he was thinking about announcing his retirement but never made up his mind completely. But the loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round saw the last of him in the league as an active player.

The center will certainly miss a lot of things about football. His life evolved as a professional football player. Nonetheless, there is one thing that he will definitely not miss. That is Tush Push. A play, popularized by Kelce’s quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts has made the Tush Push his significant move. It is a risky yet effective play that gave success to the quarterback as well as the Eagles team. However, Kelce is not a big fan of it. He does not like the play where he had to play the role.

According to Laura Okmin of Fox Sports, Jalen Hurts confirmed that the center screened “F*** my life” every time the Tush Push came in the scenario. It was no doubt a tough and gritty play. And the center had to push all the other players with all his strength. In return, the veteran used to get squeezed by others. This is the reason the now-retired center rejected the highly intense play.

Since Kelce has officially retired now, the Eagles have to look for a different anchor for the plays. That will be a difficult task to do since he took a very important role in the system of the Eagles. The center looked upset with the result of his team in the final game of his life. Evidently, he was not expecting the game would end like this.

Nick Sirianni’s future remains uncertain with Eagles

The future of the Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is now in jeopardy. The head coach attracted criticism from the regular season to playoffs. Things went so badly that a fan threw a bucket of popcorns on the HC while the latter was heading toward the tunnel after the team’s loss in the playoffs.

A day ago, Jalen Hurts, the quarterback of the Eagles, was asked whether he would love to see Sirianni back to designation. Handling the situation diplomatically, the quarterback said that he did not know if the HC would go to any place. Nonetheless, the QB did affirm that he loves playing under Sirianni as the HC.

Since the loss against the Bucs, Sirianni did not attract any support from analysts, especially the brutal Eagles’ fans. It is to be seen whether the HC stays in the designation.
