Jason Kelce reveals secret quest of pursuing rights to backyard baseball and football for mobile gaming revival

Jason Kelce might have played his last season in the NFL this year. The Philadelphia Eagles’ brilliant center has had a phenomenal career which included a Super Bowl title and numerous personal accolades.

Kelce’s retirement isn’t official yet, but the general consensus is that the Eagles’ All-Pro center is done with playing football. He has already started looking for some post-retirement hobbies.

He co-hosts the podcast, New Heights, with his brother and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce. The duo have made it one of the best sports podcasts in the world. However, Kelce has bigger ambitions, and in a recent episode of the podcast, the future Hall of Famer opened up about wanting to get the rights to the Backyard Sports video game series.

I don't even know if I want to mention this because I've secretly been looking into seeing if anybody holds the rights to Backyard Football and Backyard Baseball because I want to buy it and get this thing going again. That was the best game ever. It was so electric.
Kelce said. 
Could you imagine playing Backyard Football right now on your phone? 'Cause you can do that whole thing on your phone. It wasn't that complicated of a game...I love that game.
Continuing further, he added

Jason and the Eagles faltered in the first round of the playoffs this season after reaching the Super Bowl last year. The seven-time Pro Bowler was visibly emotional after the game, and speculations arose about his potential retirement. Kelce, though, shot down those rumors and hasn’t officially announced his retirement yet.

Jason Kelce refers to Taylor Swift as part of the family

Taylor Swift already feels like a Kelce family member. Since the start of her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs‘ TE Travis Kelce, Swift has attended a lot of Chiefs games with the Kelces.

She attended the Chiefs’ recent win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game with Jason Kelce and other members of the family.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ center seems to have accepted Swift as part of the Kelce family already. 

We had the whole family down on the field. We had me, Mom, Dad and Taylor. Everybody was down there.
Jason said during the latest episode of the New Heights podcast.

Travis had a phenomenal game against the Ravens, as he caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. He has been fantastic in the postseason this year and will look to put on another show in the biggest game of the season. The Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11.
