Jason Kelce chastised his younger brother Travis Kelce for his outburst with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Tensions were high on the sideline, and the Philadelphia Eagles center told the Chiefs tight end that he went too far by bumping and yelling at his longtime coach on Wednesday’s episode of their podcast, “New Heights.”

Jason told his younger brother:
You crossed the line. The yelling in his face, too, was over the top. I think there are better ways to handle this, retrospectively.Jason Kelce said
To the tight end’s credit, he did acknowledge that his outburst wasn’t the right thing to do.
Travis said:
I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping coach and getting him off balance. When he stumbled, I was just like, ‘Oh s–t’ in my head.Travis Kelce said
During the confrontation, Travis yelled at Reid and then gave him a hard enough bump to cause him to stumble. Running back Jerick McKinnon quickly grabbed Kelce and pulled him away.
Travis further revealed that he would only play for Reid and claimed that he loves his coach:
The All-Pro tight end finished the game with nine receptions for 93 yards. After a slow start to the game, Kelce and the Chiefs picked up their game and ended up winning the Super Bowl.
Andy Reid revealed what Travis Kelce said to him during his outburst on Sunday
Coach Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs has disclosed to the media what Travis Kelce said to him during their heated altercation during Super Bowl LVIII. The NFL tight end, who was winning 25-22 over the San Francisco 49ers, pushed and yelled at his boss following a scoreless first quarter.

In a fit of rage, Kelce, 34, pushed Reid, 65, and threw his helmet on the sidelines before sprinting back. Jerick McKinnon withdrew him. About three minutes into the second quarter, Isiah Pacheco fumbled at San Francisco’s eight-yard line, setting up the exchange.
At that point in the game, the Chiefs tight end had only gained one yard on one catch. Reid dismissed the heated exchange as Kansas City ultimately staged an incredible comeback to win in overtime.
Reid joked after the game:
He keeps me young. Tested that hip out. He caught me off balance – normally, I'd give him a little bit, but I didn't have any feet under me.Andy Reid said
He further revealed what Kelce told him during the interaction:
[Travis Kelce]’s wound up so tight. He says, 'Don’t count me out! I’m good! I can do this! I love that intensity. It radiates.Andy Reid added
Kelce eventually finished the game with 9 receptions for 93 yards and was instrumental in the Chiefs’ win on Sunday. The Chiefs, under the tutelage of Andy Reid, has established themselves as a dynasty and will look to continue for a long time.
