“Miserable little Jets fan!” – Jason McIntyre gets COOKED on social media for claiming Daniel Jones’ Giants are ‘garbage’ on live TV
The New York Giants went 9-7-1 last season and registered a playoff win under Daniel Jones' leadership.

The New York Giants recently locked down Daniel Jones for another 4-years by signing him to a massive $160 million contract extension. They are looking to win a Super Bowl ring under his leadership in the near future. However, Fox Sports analyst Jason McIntyre doesn’t believe the Giants are there yet.
During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, McIntyre and Colin were discussing the Miami Dolphins‘ 2023 season opponents. In the discussion, McIntyre brushed off the Giants‘ threat by saying, “They [Dolphins] are gonna beat the Giants. The Giants are garbage.” Show host Colin also agreed with the statement and said, “Yeah, that is not the league’s toughest schedule.”
However, the Giants are anything but garbage right now. Their front office has made some gutsy and brilliant moves in the last few off-seasons that have shaped the New York-based football team into a playoff contender under the combination of QB Daniel Jones and head coach Brian Daboll. Last off-season, they drafted offensive tackle Evan Neal and pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. Both looked like solid franchise players in the 2022 regular season.
And this time, the Giants extended contract of their franchise QB Jones; they have signed Saquon Barkley on a prove-it deal and also added star tight end Darren Waller to help Jones take his game to the next level in the upcoming season. Last season, the Giants went 9-7-1 and registered their first playoff victory in over a decade.
And this off-season, they’ve gotten a lot better with some great additions on both sides of the ball. They are competing in a tough division, but even if they can clinch a playoff spot as a wildcard team, they would still be a headache for plenty of teams in the league. So, they are far from garbage.
Social media calls out Jason McIntyre for his hatred toward the Giants

The renowned sports analyst Jason McIntyre calling the G-Men “garbage” did not sit well with the Giants fans on social media. Fans called out McIntyre for being a hater and trashed for his take. Some people also brought out receipts as they shared the worst sports takes of McIntyre from the past to prove their point. Check out some of the reactions below.
Nonetheless, the Giants will start their 2023 campaign with a pre-season matchup against the Detroit Lions on August 11 at Ford Field. Furthermore, they will face their division rivals Dallas Cowboys on their season opener on September 10 in MetLife Stadium.
