Jason Whitlock SAVAGELY hits back at Brittney Griner’s release by comparing it to Herschel Walker’s humongous Cowboys-Vikings trade

Jason Whitlock is an American sports journalist who decided to get vocal about the recent Brittney Griner homecoming controversy. Griner was arrested in Russia for drug-related charges and was kept in Russian custody for months. The United States government recently used the prisoner exchange program to trade Griner with a Russian arms dealer nick-named the ‘Merchant of Death’.

Whitlock was furious after this decision and felt a bit down as the government completely forgot about Marine Paul Whelan, who was arrested in Russia for espionage charges.

Whitlock also tweeted regarding the same issue with a slight nudge towards Griner’s release as he compared it to the infamous Herschel Walker Vikings to Cowboys trade.

The Herschel Walker Cowboys to Vikings trade is regarded as the biggest trade in all of NFL history. In 1980, the RB was in the form of his life at the Cowboys, however; he was traded to the Vikings in return for five players and six draft picks.

Most of the players that the Cowboys accumulated after the Walker deal turned into absolute legends of the club while breaking numerous records.

Whitlock was enraged after the decision and openly stated on ‘Fearless with Jason Whitlock’ that he was not pleased with the government’s decision to secure the release of Brittney Griner.

Whitlock also stated that this move endangers America and shows them in a bad light as they gave in to the Russian demands and exchanged Griner for an arms dealer who is called the ‘Merchant of Death’.

I am not pleased about what we have just done to secure the release of Brittney Griner. That will not make me popular. This is wrong, this damages America, this weakens America, this makes us look foolish--We shouldn’t have bent over backwards and sent an arms dealer nicknamed ‘The Merchant of Death’ for the release of a basketball player who has done everything in her power to diminish America and portray America as ‘unfair’ and ‘racist’, and beneath her.

Whitlock then later went on to criticize Griner for her anti-America stance and stated that the WNBA star knew the Russian drug rules before carrying any with her.
