The Seattle Seahawks already had a dynamic wide receiver duo in Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. They added WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba via the NFL Draft this season. The forms a deadly trio. Smith-Njigba was the first receiver to be selected in this year’s draft and understandably so. He is a dynamic wideout with a knack for getting open. His route running is already excellent, as seen in the Seahawks’ preseason triumph against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
His play caused a lot of buzz on social media and the fans can’t wait to see more of him. Twitter was hyping Jaxon Smith-Njigba for his ‘flawless’ skills during the preseason games. The Ohio State receiver has been exceptional since his college days and seems to have carried his form in the NFL as well.
Fans are calling him ”nasty” as he showed his skills during the preseason games. He will be hoping to continue his dynamic play in the NFL and become one of the main targets for quarterback Geno Smith this season.
The Seahawks’ drafting has been exceptional and fans acknowledged that on twitter while praising Smith-Njigba.
The Seahawks drafted Smith-Njigba 20th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. He will join an already elite wide receiver duo in Metcalf and Lockett and hope to take the Seahawks into the playoffs this season as well. The Seahawks open their season against the Los Angeles Rams on September 10.

Seattle Seahawks’ head coach Pete Carroll was throwing dimes during a training session
Pete Carroll is 71. He has been the head coach for the Seattle Seahawks for, like, forever. He might be old in age, but he still has the youth streak in him, and it was on full display at a training session where he took quarterbacking duties and was seen throwing dimes downfield. Again, he is 71! He stepped up when his receivers needed some catching practice as his regular QBs were practising elsewhere. Geno Smith who?
Carroll is entering his 14th season in the league as a head coach. He can still suit up if need be. The Seahawks have made the playoffs in each of the in 10 of Carroll’s 13 seasons with the team and will be hoping to add to that.
With the head coach slinging his arm like that, Seattle will always have an additional backup QB. The Seahawks play their final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers and open their season against the Los Angeles Rams on September 10.
