Jay Cutler’s ex-wife Kristin Cavallari puts light on why she doesn’t want ‘to date another athlete’ after a couple of failed relationships

Seems like Kristin Cavallari, ex-wife of former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, is done with dating athletes once and or all. She talked her mind on the Back to the Beach podcast she hosts with Stephen Colletti.
“To be honest I, I don’t want to say anything I’m gonna end up regretting, but I don’t think I want to date another athlete,” Cavallari admitted.
Cavallari and Cutler were married for ten years before their divorce and are parents of three beautiful children – sons Camden and Jax and daughter Saylor. Cavallari had a pretty messy divorce with the former Bears quarterback due to their financial disputes. The two finally agreed on a settlement, and their divorce was finalized in 2022.

Apparently, Kristin Cavallari doesn’t want to date a professional athlete because of time constraints. “Here’s my deal. I dated a hockey player. For me, now in my life where I’m at, it’s more about schedules,” she explained. “So baseball, they’re gone all the time. Basketball, they’re gone all the time. Football’s reasonable. Hockey, they’re gone a lot, but it’s doable.”
The Laguna Beach alum also reminisced about her last love affair. She talked about dating former Heisman Trophy winner and first-round pick quarterback Matt Leinart. Kristin said she dated Leinart when she was eighteen who was five years her senior. Matt Leinart was undefeated during his junior year and went on to win the 2005 BCS National Championship. Kristin added that she dated him around the same time he won the Heisman Trophy and it was a big deal for her to date Leinart.
Kristin also said that she and Leinart still remain good friends. She has always been open about her relationships on various podcasts and also said that she’s not gonna settle and is looking for her “the one”. Cavallari has also said that it’s to sift through the tons of DMs she receives on her social media platforms through blue ticks.
